A native of Cleveland, Mississippi, Lee Gladden earned his accounting degree from Delta State University in 1999, where he was also a member of the golf team. He went on to graduate from Mississippi College School of Law in 2002 and has been actively practicing law in Mississippi ever since. Over the past two decades, Lee has built a diverse litigation practice handling matters ranging from motor vehicle accidents and premises liability to complex, multi-party cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.

Lee has represented insurance companies and excess insurers in large-loss litigation across the country, including cases involving liquid petroleum explosions, multi-vehicle tractor-trailer accidents, and catastrophic motorcycle-related injuries. His work has taken him to courtrooms in Utah, Louisiana, Indiana, Tennessee, and Texas.

In addition to his trial practice, Lee has spoken at numerous seminars on bad faith litigation and the complexities of Mississippi’s Uninsured Motorist (UM) law. He is also approved to represent clients through the Mississippi Tort Claims Board and has defended state entities in cases involving professional negligence, motor vehicle liability, and premises liability at both trial and appellate levels. Lee previously served as Deputy General Counsel for Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise, the business division of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

Licensed in all Mississippi and Tennessee state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court, Lee brings both breadth and depth of experience to his clients. His work has earned him national recognition, including selection to the 2022-2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America© in Insurance Law.

Though he grew up in the Mississippi Delta, Lee has called Madison home for more than 20 years. He practices alongside his wife at Gladden & Ingram, PLLC, and together they are raising their two children, Tucker and Macy, who keep them busy with high school activities. Lee and Whitney are members of Pinelake Baptist Church in Madison.
